OICL AO Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification (as on 30.11.2025)

Generalist Officer

• Graduation or Post-Graduation in any discipline
• Minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST)
  

Hindi (Rajbhasha) Officer

Master’s Degree in:

• Hindi with English as compulsory/elective OR
• English with Hindi as compulsory/elective OR
• Any subject with Hindi medium + English compulsory/elective OR
• Any subject with English medium + Hindi compulsory/elective OR
• Any subject with Hindi & English as compulsory/elective
  Minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST)
  

Age Limit (as on 30.11.2025)

• Minimum: 21 years
• Maximum: 30 years
  Born not earlier than 01 Dec 1995 and not later than 30 Nov 2004.
  Relaxations: SC/ST 5 yrs, OBC 3 yrs, PwBD 10 yrs, others as per rules.
  

Salary (Emoluments)

• Basic Pay: ₹50,925
• Pay Scale: 50925-2500(14)-85925-2710(4)-96765
• Total Salary (Approx): ₹85,000 per month in metro cities
  Includes: NPS, Gratuity, Medical, LTS, Group Insurance, accommodation benefits.

Phase-I: Preliminary Exam (100 Marks) – Online

• English Language – 30 marks
• Reasoning Ability – 35 marks
• Quantitative Aptitude – 35 marks

Objective Test (200 marks)
