Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Marketing Division – Northern Region, has invited online applications for engagement of Trade, Technician and Graduate Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961. The apprenticeship opportunities are available across Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

Eligible candidates can apply through the respective NAPS/NATS portal from 07 August 2026 to 06 September 2026 up to 05:00 PM.

The apprenticeship vacancies are distributed across the Northern Region states and Union Territories including Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Chandigarh, Jammu & Kashmir, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

The prescribed qualification must be obtained through a recognized university/institute as a regular full-time course. Qualifications obtained through part-time, correspondence or distance learning mode are not eligible.

IOCL Apprentice Recruitment 2026 – Stipend

The stipend will be paid according to the provisions of the Apprentices Act, 1961, Apprentices Rules, 1992 and applicable government guidelines.

In addition to the statutory stipend, Indian Oil Corporation Limited will pay ₹2,500 per month towards miscellaneous expenses.

IOCL Apprentice Recruitment 2026 – Selection Process

1. Candidates registered on the NAPS/NATS portal and meeting the eligibility criteria will be considered.
2. There will be no written examination and no interview.
3. A merit list will be prepared based on the percentage of marks secured in the prescribed qualification.
4. In case of equal percentage, the older candidate will be considered first.
5. If the date of birth is also the same, the candidate with a higher percentage in matriculation will be considered.
6. Preference will be given to candidates applying for apprenticeship training for the first time.
7. Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification.
8. Candidates must qualify the pre-engagement medical fitness test before engagement.

1. Register on the appropriate NAPS or NATS portal.
2. Trade Apprentice candidates should register through the NAPS portal.
3. Technician and Graduate Apprentice candidates should register through the NATS portal.
4. Complete your personal, educational and category details in the respective portal.
5. Login and apply for the Indian Oil Corporation Limited Marketing Division – Northern Region opportunity.
6. Use the relevant establishment IDs: NATS – NDLSDC000005 and NAPS – E05200700003.
7. After applying through NAPS/NATS, submit the required details through the Microsoft Office Form.
8. Submit the application and Microsoft Form before 06 September 2026, 05:00 PM.

• Valid NAPS/NATS Apprentice Registration or Enrolment Number.
• Active email ID and mobile number.
• PAN Card.
• Aadhaar Card.
• Active bank account in the candidate’s name.
• Aadhaar-seeded bank account enabled for DBT.
• Correct bank details updated on the NATS portal where applicable.
• APAAR ID and e-KYC updated/verified on the NATS portal.

Important Instructions

• Candidates can apply for only one discipline code.
• Applying for more than one discipline code will result in rejection of the application.
• Candidates must ensure that their NAPS/NATS profile information is correct before applying.
• Candidates must also submit the Microsoft Office Form after applying through the respective portal.
• The apprenticeship training period is 12 months.
• Completion of apprenticeship does not create any right to regular employment in IOCL.
