Security Assistant / Executive (SA/Exe) Examination 2025-2026
The Intelligence Bureau (IB), under the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), Government of India, has declared the Final Result of the Security Assistant/Executive (SA/Exe) Exam 2025-2026 for 4,987 vacancies.
The final selection list is based on the combined performance of candidates in the Tier-I Computer Based Test (CBT) held on September 29–30, 2025, and the Tier-III Interview / Personality Test conducted between June 1 and June 30, 2026, subject to scoring minimum qualifying marks in the Tier-II Descriptive Language Test conducted on February 22, 2026.
Candidates can download the 37-page official merit list PDF directly from the Ministry of Home Affairs portal at mha.gov.in. The result is compiled Subsidiary Intelligence Bureau (SIB) wise and roll number wise to facilitate easy identification.

The final merit list comprises selected candidates across all regional Subsidiary Intelligence Bureau (SIB) centres:
- North & Central SIBs: Delhi (IB Hqrs), Chandigarh, Amritsar, Jammu, Srinagar, Leh, Shimla, Dehradun, Lucknow, Meerut, Varanasi, Bhopal, Raipur, Jaipur.
- East & North-East SIBs: Kolkata, Siliguri, Kalimpong, Patna, Ranchi, Bhubaneswar, Guwahati, Agartala, Aizawl, Imphal, Itanagar, Kohima, Shillong, Gangtok.
- West & South SIBs: Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Nagpur, Panaji, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Chennai, Trivandrum.
- Not in Merit Order: The published list of roll numbers is arranged SIB-wise and roll number-wise, not in the order of merit, to allow easy lookup.
- Provisional Candidates Marked (P): Roll numbers marked with “(P)” have been kept provisional due to non-submission of requisite certificates/documents during document verification. Such candidates must submit the pending documents immediately or at the time of joining.
- Reserved Category in UR: Candidates from EWS, OBC, SC, and ST categories listed under the Unreserved (UR) category have qualified on Unreserved standards on their own merit.
- Final Appointment: Selection is provisional and strictly subject to satisfactory completion of Character and Antecedents verification, medical examination, and fulfillment of all eligibility criteria.

- Under the “What’s New” / “Notifications” section on the homepage, find the link titled “Final Result of Security Assistant/Executive (SA/Exe) Exam 2025”.
- Click on the notification link to open or download the complete result PDF file.
- Press Ctrl + F (or the search icon on mobile) and type your 12-digit Roll Number.
- If your roll number appears in your respective SIB list, note your selection category and check if marked with provisional status
(P). - Save and download a copy of the result PDF for future verification and onboarding procedures.
