Educational Qualification
- Manager (System): Degree in Computer Application or Degree with Diploma in Computer Application.
- Senior Programmer: Degree in Computer Application or Degree with Diploma in Computer Application.
- Programmer Grade-2: Bachelor’s Degree with Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science or A-Level Certificate from DOE, Government of India, along with the prescribed software, database, networking and office automation knowledge.
- Computer Operator Grade-B: Bachelor’s Degree with Diploma in Computer Science or Bachelor’s Degree with O-Level Certificate from DOE. Knowledge of Hindi and English data entry, networking and the prescribed typing speed is required.
Computer Operator Grade-B
Candidates must possess the required qualification by the last date of application. Candidates with Territorial Army service of at least two years or an NCC ‘B’ Certificate may receive preference where applicable.
Age Limit
The candidate must be at least 21 years old and must not have crossed 40 years as on 01 July 2026. For eligible PH candidates, the maximum age limit is 55 years.
- SC/ST/OBC and specified eligible UP categories: +5 years.
- Eligible physically handicapped candidates: +15 years.
- Eligible ex-servicemen: additional relaxation as per rules.

Selection Process
For Manager (System), Senior Programmer and Programmer Grade-2, selection is based on marks obtained in the examination. For Computer Operator Grade-B, selection is based on examination marks and the Hindi & English typing test.
